Historic Lobby Renovation

Project Info

The project entailed a complete restoration of a 1900 elevator lobby. Previously, the existing historic lobby was covered by a 1980’s-era postmodern renovation. Services included historic research, code research, material selections, design, and construction administration. Awards were received by trade organizations including the National Ornamental & Miscellaneous Metals Association and the Marble Institute of America.
*Note – This project was designed while employed at Charles Henkels Architects.
